  • windows explorer woes

I recently lost my toolbar up top on explorer... IF I hit My computer, it is GONE, but if I hit WINDOWS KEY+E, the entire spectrum is there, address bar, back forward buttons, search, File and edit etc... Anyone ever have this.

    Thanx

What version of windows? I have never seen this before. All of those bring up the exact same window for me. Hmmmm...

Strange...can you post a screenshot? Are you able to right-click or anything like that to get a menu or something to pop up? I am in Windows 7 right now, but I can boot into XP in a little bit. I don't think I have ever seen this behavior.

Wow...I have never seen the menu bar disappear too. I am sure there has to be a way to get that back.

yup, happened to me a lot, just go to task manager, ctrl+alt+del, file>new activity and look for c:/windows/explorer.exe, that would bring it back

ps: i have spanish and italian version of windows so im translateting the comands, but i think its no biggie.
