  • 2D and 3D

    Hi guys,
I'm wondering if some of you could point me in the right direction to do this.

I'm building a website and the idea is to have city by night with all the commercials and billboards.
The different elements on the picture, will be the elements of the site - so a big billboard will be a
media player, a sign will be the portfolio and so on.
When clicking on one of the elements, the site will zoom in to that element, and whatever menu needing to be there will appear, so it's functional.

My approach to this would be to use a photograph and composite 3D elements (billboards) to it. How would you go and animate that background image to appear in some sort of space and not flat (rotation purposes).

Anybody know of a better way to do it?

Hope you understand what I wrote and get my idea

    Cheers.

To do something well, you'd need to build it all in 3d. There is no "good" way to do this. Only a quick and long way unfortunately.
