Could anyone convert this to a proxy for me?

I've found a free chair on Evermotion that I'd like to get hold of, but its modelled in Max 2010. We are running Max 2009! If some kind person were to open it and save it as a vrayproxy, would that work on our system?

Are you sure it does? I thought I tried it once and my max 8 couldn't read a proxy from max 2010...might remember it wrong though.
