select similar (like polyboost)

hello all

I am very frustrated. I used polyboost to select similar edges or polygons of a mesh, but in max 2010 polyboost wont work. I think the new graphite tools should work like polyboost, but I don't find a similar command like "select similar".
is there a command to select similar edges or polygons etc...?

...or does anybody knows a script to select similar parts of a mesh?

The same selection tools are still there. You might have to expand the ribbon to see them though
