windows 7 64 communicating with win xp 64

Is this possible ? Do I have to purchase 5 copies of windows 7 64 bit for all computers or can I use one windows 7 64 bit for my main workstation and then win xp 64 bit for the render nodes ?

I have a mix of XP, XP 64bits, Vista 64 and windows 7, and no problem.. all render nodes are kicking in without a problem, either DR or Backburner...

I think they upped the peer to peer limit in windows 7...so you can actually use it for backburner and DR with more then ten computers.
