    hello all

    I have a common question about the tesla cards. does anybody use a tesla card? and does it replace a normal graphiccard? I don't get it.
    ...and will vray rt GPU suppoting it?

    AFIK.. a tesla card is a headless GPU card/processor..i.e there is no video output, you would still need a normal video card, & as far as VRay rt goes.. I'll leave that up to Vlado to explain..

      Yes, V-Ray RT/GPU supports Tesla cards. Since they don't include the video output circuitry they have some advantages, i.e. lower power consumption and the ability to work from a remote desktop session (for example on a render server without a monitor). They also typically come with more video RAM.
