  • I finished an album, and it's free.

I know this is way way off topic but I figure some of you might be into this

This is the last 12 months of my music (only the good ones) - deep house to techno in style.
Although it's techno i've tried to a get a lot of influence from other genres (mostly metal) and generally thrown a lot more noise around that you usually see in it - it's still 4/4, but hopefully should have some cross appeal. It's slower, quite deep, and very synth heavy. It's awfully dark in parts too.
I've had some decent feedback off a few in the past, so I hope you guys like them too

The full album on rapidshare, with high res cover, tracklist etc:

Couple of samples: (dont turn the volume up on the web player, it's broken)

It's mostly vsts/laptop based, i find the sound you can get out of them now is so close to hardware it makes no odds. I have:
                        Ableton
soft synths wise I use fm8, massive & rob papens blue a lot.
used a mates korg ms2000 through a distortion pedal for 'draft'
I had an NI maschine for the drums on the opening track - very recent purchase, and i'm in love with it.
cheap m-audio interface (might be upgrading to an edirol ua-101 very soon)

Borrowed a rackmount compresser/limiter from the same friend as the synth to do the final mixes.

Thanks for the time and feedback everyone
