  • WarCraft3 videos rendered in vray?

    hi. did someone know this?
    i know blizzard uses phonis an stich and shag hair.
    but how about vray?
    or did they render in scanline?
    i have seen picts of blizzard in the chaotic dimension-galery.

    the last i heard from talking to some of those guys is that they mainly use scanline.

      i think they might use scanline.

      in the end, scanline can sometimes be a whole helluva lot faster than a 3rd party renderer. no disrespect to vray intended of course.
      5 years and counting.

        As far as I know, Blizzard used the scanline renderer for their WarCraft3 cinematics.

          i really like their style.
          every frame looks like a work of art.

          very colorful without looking gaudy or overwhelming.

          i hope one day they make a feature film.
          some scifi stuff would be great :P
          Reflect, repent and reboot.
          Order shall return.

            i read they are also using brazil now, next to scanline.
