Stretchy bones / CAT

Hi there.
Just wanted to start animating in Cat with stretchy bones.
as usualy, new abs. layer, and drop down the animation mode button to stretchy bones animation.
but there isn't a drop down list by animation modes anymore.
did i missed something?
working in max 2011.

anybody a idea?
