3dsmax instance still runs after 3dsmax quit

Anyone else experiencing this. Sometimes I can have about 4 instances of max open in the task manager when Ive only been using one.

3dsmax 2010..not sure about 2011 as I havent had time to use it that much.

Yes I do have the colorcorrect plugin installed....is it something I have to live with if I use that ?

It's a known issue with the CC plugin in 2010+. It's a beta since ages and has never been updated.
I use a small .bat file with the following contents (Beware tho! Executing this file will kill each and every
3dsmax process!!)

taskkill /im 3dsmax.exe /f

Don't know if it was here or @ CGTalk, but someone posted a startup script that will automatically kill 3DSmax when it shuts down to avoid this problem:

kill_max_colorcorr.zip

Close Max and Unzip the file inside "..\Scripts\Startup\"
