  • Quadro (on XP64) multiple display irritation.

    Hi

So on my WinXp machine I have dual display with Quadro. Desktop is setup to stretch over 2 screens. So when I maximise an app, it stretches that app over both screens. Even if I minimise the app, all messages and dialog boxes are center on the desktop, so it displays half on 1 screen and the other half on the other screen. This is annoying as hell.
The driver allows me to clone the screen, but then screens are exactly the same. If I look at display res it is 3360X1050

On my other system (Ati on Vista) it gives me the option to extend desktop onto other display. When I maximise it maximises app on 1 screen only. Perfect. I can still drag it to the other screen. Dialog boxes are center on display 1 etc. If I look at display res it is 1600X1050 Perfect! Why cant the Quadro do that?

Is it a Quadro problem or an OS problem?
Man I'm so annoyd right now
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Nevermind. A new driver and a restart fixed it.

For anyone else out there...you want to make sure you are running in DualView mode. That allows you to control the two screens independently avoiding the above problems.
