  • Need a script to drop a spline

    Hey guys/gals,
Do you know of a script where I could drop a spline straight down onto an object (poly object) and the spline (predefined) would conform to the surface of the object? ShapeMerge does this functionality, but creates completely new vertices in the spline, and I want it to be the same spline (because I'm using it for a crossSection so the verts have to be the same).

    Thanks,
    Colin

I have not used this one in a while, so I cannot remember if it uses the original shape or not:

EDIT: From the page I linked -

"When you glue a spline, the original object is maintained, and the plugin creates the other spline object. These parameters define the resulting spline, you can preserve the original vertices (only for linear splines), interpolate by a number of steps, or interpolate using a defined segment size."

Yep, the Itoo Glue is the best for that task as beestee said.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if Glue retained the original interpolation. Thanks again!
