  • Recommendation needed for remote render farm services

We are in need of using remote render farm for the project. I know from past experiences that uploading scenes and making sure they render ok is a difficult thing, usually takes few tries, that adds up to extra $.
Can any one recommend a reasonable render farm services with assistance so that these problems can be worked out at minimal costs.
    Thanks!

I think there are several services out there, however, I use Rebus. There set up is pretty slick and there pricing seems to be reasonable, but that may be a matter of personal opinion. They have a cost calculator on there web site so you can punch in the relative information and it will pop out a price. It’s based on a render point system so the more points you purchase the larger the discount. Rebus is located in Germany and most of the customer service is email based. I have not had a problem and Andre is pretty good about getting back to me. If I can answer any other questions, post it.

    Take a look: http://www.rebusfarm.com/

    Hope this helps.

I can also render and setup some smaller animation jobs on my cluster if anyone is interested.
10 coreI7 boards with 12 gig RAM and max 2010,2011 64 bit with vray.
Price is 25 cent per frame in PAL or 1 euro if it is FullHD or if your Frames take 1 Hour to render each.
Setup time (if needed) is 40 Euros per hour.
      Reflect, repent and reboot.
      Order shall return.

I've used rendercore a few times, they've been great when it comes to setting up test renders for me and have exceptional customer service when I've had issues.

That being said I still hate the added work of outsourcing a render while on a tight deadline, but if I had to do it again I'd go back to rendercore.
