  • Johannesburg company scaling down - render slaves for sale. Also KVM switch

    Hi all

I'm scaling down a bit and as a result I no longer have a need for 3 of my machines.
    I have:
    1 of these:
Intel Q9550 Quadcore CPU with Intel "Media" Range Motherboard
    8GB Ram (4X2GB)
    Onboard Graphics
    250GB Seagate Drive (SATA2 3GB/s)
    Includes Vista Ultimate 64BIT License
    CoolerMaster Case (Ultra Silent)

    2 of these:
Intel Q6600 Quadcore CPU with Intel "Extreme" Range Motherboard
    8GB Ram (4X2GB)
1 Box has ATI HD 2900XT Graphics Card and the other has ATI HD 2900GT Graphics Card
    250GB Seagate Drive (SATA2 3GB/s)
    Includes Vista Ultimate 64BIT License
RaidMax Gamers case with clear side panel and 5 Cooling Fans

1X 17" HP LCD Screen (Performance range)

1 X KVM Type switch including cables to connect 4 computers using only 1 Keyboard, mouse, monitor (Press 1 button to switch between computers)

I'll pre-install VRay1.5 slave mode for you on top of your choice of max (max 2008-2011)
As these were used as slaves, you won't get a max license as you don't need it for slaves.

If you are interested then please send me a PM. I'm pretty open to offers for the lot as a bundle. To be practical, you need to be within the Johannesburg, Randburg, Sandton, Roodepoort Area.

Any takers? I'll let the lot go for R 15 000. That is a great deal. I originally bought each pc for roughly R 20 000. There is nothing wrong with them, just cheaper as pc equipment's value goes down drastically as you know. However it still renders great and has saved me time and time again.
    Kind Regards,

        Hi Steve

Yes I still got it. The Q6600's are 2.4Ghz and the Q9550 is 2.83Ghz (I don't believe in overclocking so don't know how far you can push it should you decide to go that route)
