    How complex are your scenes?
Are you going to be doing any VRayRT GPU stuff?
What's more important, viewport performance or price of card?

There's a hardware section now that Vlado added to help organize these topics better. The latest and greatest is the nVidia 480. If price is an issue, I wouldn't go with anything less than a 290.

My scenes are large site plans with hundreds of homes and all the landscape that comes with that as well as the surrounding topography. Price is not the main consideration. No VrayRT.

@jujubee: Yep, they have been available for a couple of days now.

@mikeh: For those type of heavy scenes, I personally think that the Quadro 4000/5000 would be the best options. They are much more adept when dealing with very large data sets. That is very similar to the type of projects we do and I am struggling with my GTX480 and WISH I had my Quadro 4800 back! Just having hardware acceleration of wireframe would be a huge boost of the Quadro.
