i opened an old scene with a RF mesh calculated in RF4 (i dont think it was as old as RF3) and it has nice motion blur to it using vray physical camera. working with a mesh in RF5 and im getting zero motion blur. i set shutter speed all the way down to 10 and still none

I had the same problem yesterday.

In new Realflow, you have to boost motion blur strenght in RFloader a lot.
I haven't found the right multiplier yet, but with value 250 there was mb anyway.

Have you enabled motion blur in the Object properties of the RF mesh object? Seems like newer versions of the mesh reader require this option to produce motion blur (whereas older versions did not).

Yes, you still need the V-Ray settings. That option just tells the RF mesher that it needs to read/use the velocities.
