  • Projecting splines onto mesh surface. Can anyone help?

I have a mesh surface that has been imported from cad and a spline (made up of a number of splines) that I want to project onto the surface so that I can create 'joint' lines.

I thought this could/should be done quite easily with Shapemerge, but for some reason, it ain't working. I've also tried iToosoft Glue, but that doesn't work either.

Could anyone take a look at this file and suggest how I might do it?

    (I'm on Max2009 x64)

    Thanks
