Buckled metal problem

Hi guys,

I need to buckle some metal up as though it has been pushed down and hit some objects. The problem is that the metal needs to buckle along a line that isnt straight. Any ideas how I might do this ??

The red bit in the image attached needs to bend up ....hinge just works along one edge..which is not what I want.

No worries. I just split the straight edges up and hinged them individually..seems to be working well.

hmm id have probably painted a displacement map or something.. maybe using the max displace modifier..
