3dsmax 2009 vs 2011

we are thinking in moving from 3dsmax 2009 to 3dsmax 2011, 2011 is really better than 2009? what benefits can we get by doing the update?

With Max 2012 around the corner you might want to wait a bit to upgrade. 2011 has some nice enhancements, but personally I have also experienced a lot of negative performance and stability issues.

With all of the new features in 2012, I would skip 2011 and get 2012. Many performance improvements and new features that make it a great time to upgrade!
