  • Script to array a vraycamera?

I am searching for a script that will allow me to array/animate a Vraycamera around a point in space. I am no coder myself, but I was hoping to make a purchase of something.

Essentially, I am working on some ObjectVR type rendering, so I want to find a quick set up for creating a camera rig that will rotate around the 3D model in the centre.

Of course, I could do this by animating the camera around a circular path, but I also need the ability to move the camera up and down at various heights above and below the model so I have a 'spherical' array/animation!

Does anyone know of a method for doing this, or is there a coder out there who could knock something together for me (obviously I will pay!).
    Kind Regards,

hmm - seems you could largely do this with some clever parenting / pivots and using shift rotate / drag?

Yes, we are looking into using dummy objects now, but wondered if there was something 'out there' already.

I think it would be a cool script: a sort of 'multi resolution spherical animated camera', all at the click of a button! I need to find a script writer...

If it's just a case of making a spherical array of cameras that should be easy enough or would you rather one that moves between all those positions so you could render off a sequence?

I think I've found something that seems just about spot on. Search scriptspot for 'Object2VR'.

Would creating a spline and assigning a path constraint to the cameras along the path work? Or using the spacing tool around the spline?

Or you could position helpers and use Clone & Align.

The Object2VR script is actually quite perfect for this. It even has the naming sorted out too. Thanks for your suggestions though. Appreciated.
