  • 3dsmax and wacom tablet zooming in perspective problems...

When using tablet and zooming with pen middle button and ctrl+Alt when in orthographic view everything is ok, but when in perspective it barely moves. any tips?

I've got a Bamboo and for perspective I use ALT+middle button and ALT+CTRL+middle button for zoom in&out.

It's less confortable to wheel so if someone knows a better solution...

EDIT: with intuos series you can use the wheel/pad (it depend by different intuos release) to emulate the mouse wheel.

That's why I always use Ortho, unless I'm setting up and dealing with cameras for rendering.

I find this happens from time to time. With an object selected just hit Z to rezoom to fit, and then it should zoom properly again.

How it behaves depends on the scale of the scene.

with Bamboo A5 size I've found that you should boost the zoom factor in the viewport preferences.
