can't uninstall backburner 2012 ... error 1722

I installed for testing max 2012 and realized that it overwrote max 2011 backburner... now everything is messed up.
I tried to uninstall backburner 2012 but I got some windows installation error 1722.

Anyone have any idea how to uninstall this bloody thing ?
Even after clicking repair and repairing, can't uninstall...

You could try to install BB from the max 2011 install package, it will automatically uninstall BB 2012 first. Don't know if it helps with your problem but worked fine for me.

I tried that and error comes not form bb but form windows installer... I finally managed to uninstall it by removing bb stuff form registry and then deleting bb folder.
Be careful people bb 2012 is messing things up big time.

is it F***ED by itself alone or because you forgot to remove 2011 completely first???

by itself... check area forum, quite a few people got problems with bb 2012

OMG...hopefully they will release a hotfix soon :-//...glad we havent upgraded yet....got the boxes delivered but really waiting for the first hotfix/SP to fix the main issues

oh I was wrong... yes I can send jobs, I can start manager...but now I can't start server on my workstation . When I click server nothing happens. I tried starting as administartor and also nothing, just icon blink and that is it. Oh my 2012 really messed things up. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Apparently the new bb cant wor with VPN that uses ipv4 anymore (( it only supports ipv6 now... Not sure if its related to your problem somehow though

Ok I finally found the solution... so if anyone got same problem do this:
go to Users/yourusername/AppData/Local/backburner and remove file backburner.xml

everything works again
