We're in the middle of a falling-out with our domain hosting company at work. Any recommendations for a new company? We have around 25 domain names registered with numberous levels of web hosting and pop3 email accounts associated with them. Ideally, a UK-based company with people on the end of a phone if you need them!
    Kind Regards,

I wish I could suggest someone - no one seems reliable unless you pay a lot - phone support seems to have vanished and beware hidden charges on transfer out if/when you need to move again (Namesco are bad for this and other gotchas)
the big guys are more or less ok till it all goes wrong and then you get stuck in technical support with clueless kids.. while the mid/small guys all seem unreliable

I'm thinking of moving to a US based op that has servers in the UK

I've used hostmonster.com for about 4 years now. It is in the US, but do promote themselves as always having free phone support available. The price hasn't gone up in the time I've used them either. Been under $200 for 2 years including a free domain. Domains are also private listing so you don't get bothered by domain spam. Pretty good free spam filters and they do have a pay version and some other add ons (security certificates, static IP, etc.), but overall pretty cheap. Pop3-imap email with unlimited domains, FTP, email accounts, storage, bandwitdth, etc. "Unlimited" isn't quite unlimited, but I have yet to have a problem. The couple times I've had issues, they resolved in a timely manner and always notified me weeks in advance before moving my domains to another server. And also was always prompt with communication if they're doing maintenance.

I have 4 domains I manage through them, plus about 10-15 email accounts and numerous FTP accounts. I also set up two other companies with them and they've had no problems as well. I highly recommend them.

MSN addresses are not for newbies or warez users to contact the pros and bug them with
stupid questions the forum can answer.
