  • Deleting a number of sub-object polys from tree?

I have a tree with too many leaves. I can select all the leaves by selecting ID 5. How do I select, for example, 50% of these leaves so that I can delete them?
    Kind Regards,

there is probably a way via script, but I would temporarily detach the leaves and apply a materialbyelement modifier and use that to assign a different ID to 50% of the polys, then select and delete the unwanted polys and then finally reattach to your tree.

Thanks chris. Funnily enough, I've just come accross that modifier. Never used it before but will give it a whirl!
