Barrage of bigboss virus

I've gotten 5 emails today all containing the bigboss virus, thankfully McAffee has caught them all. They seem to be related to either this forum or the fR forum, one was from jonseagull.com (probably spoofed). Just wondering if anyone else is getting them too.

Same here, although I don´t think its Vray forum related. I even got one from Splutterfish

Here is the info about the Worm that I got today (8 times from different senders) and a remedy for those stupid enough to execute one of the attachments. I´m not sure if this is the same that you have.

Yeah, thats the one. I got confused with another virus I've been getting from big-at-boss.com (@ omitted)... This one is definately connected to our sector if not this forum. All of the email addresses sofar have been from companies/people involved in 3D.

From Symantec:
"The spoofed addresses and the Send To addresses are both taken from the files found on the computer. Also, the worm may use the settings of the infected computer's settings to check for an SMTP server to contact."

It sounds strange that all of a sudden, emails from 3D artists/companies are being spoofed for this. One possibility is that some 3D software company got its email database infected and the virus is using them to replicate.
Else, who could have such a specific database of addresses in a local drive?
