I really love this forum. I can't say that I'm much of a CG artist, but I'm learning and much of what I understand now has come from this community.

But, recently the Take 5 area has really taken a dive. Yes, I know that I can choose to ignore those ranting posts, but since I've been a member for so long I feel a small sense of responsibility. I think that threads which are obviously going nowhere and smack of "Troll" should just be stopped before they get out of hand. Some of you know exactly what I'm talking about. Responses to hurtful or politically/racially charged posts are turning from intelligent and thoughtful to somewhat nasty. These threads seem to be bringing out the darker side of some of us. It's not pretty.

As it has been said before, let's keep it professional and curteous. I hope you agree.

just ban dannyk karadagian international man of architecture residing in florida lithuania or what ever his name is.

he's been nothing but trouble. He first came on the boards and started insulting people because there were no tutorials he liked and that we wouldn't write some for him, we told him to do what we all did, and learn by using the software. He didn't like that idea.

I guess we don't need to ban him, just ignore his posts. If they continually slide down the page with no replies he'll move on to the next board.

Archinect discussion forum would be a perfect place for him. EVERYBODY there is a troll.
