I just got back from a Max 6 demo.... I'm ready to sell my car to buy it. It was amazing!
I've seen mention of complaints of slow renders... I witnessed an HDRI render that took 14 seconds on a single processor laptop.
Particle Flow, Ragdoll and Mental Ray were awesome!
