  • Simbiont Material...

    I'm playing a little with this materials and thay look very good... but how do i control the scale... simple UVW mapping doesn't seem to have any affect.

    any one here have expirance with those materials ???

        Well if you want the texture to be smaller: increase the tile amounts. If you want the texture to larger: tile by decimal points (0.7, 0.35...).

        Then there are the offset parameters...

        Procedurals, for some reason, get huge when you set them to use "Explicit Map Channel" in the Coordinates - Soucre field, so for Simbionts you often want to set the tiling around 100 before it starts looking right.

            Make sure you try the "texture Scale" check box first. This will often get you most of the way there and then slight modifications to the tiling will finish it off.
            Two heads are better than one ...
            ....but some head is better than none.....
