Graphic cards

Hi, maybe this is a little off topic, but I need to buy a better graphic card, and maybe I can use you help to chose the best one.

I have 2 choises, nVidia FX5900 Ultra 256 MB, or Radeon 9800 XT 256MB, which one is the better in 3dsmax?

Hmm.. Nvidia'a newest Quadro series would most likely be better for max, but more expensive though.

Other than that, I think I've heard the latest Ati cards are slightly better than the regular FX series from Nvidia.

I allways use the Nvidia cards, only reason being is quality of the drivers, ATI has a notorious rep for bad drivers. Ive owned several of both brands in the past and hands down for me every time its Nvidia.
