  • GeForce 3 Ti200 (Gainward) >>> Qadro DCC

    Hi guys!

Some time ago, I have heard that this conversion (in topic) is possible.
So, I have tried it: I have tweaked my GeForce with RivaTuner and patched my drivers with scripts (also from RT). Then, I have installed MAXTreme drivers for max5.

    WHOOA!

    Here is the best part:

scene is: two geospheres with over of 900.000 polys both (900.032)

on standard opengl driver with my GeFroce: about 2 fps (when rotating, drivers optimized for performance with RT)

on MAXtreme with my new 'Quadro DCC': about 20-25 fps ))

    CONCLUSION: DO IT YOURSELF!

ps: sorry for all mistakes - my english isn't too good...

Sounds pretty cool. And is it possible to do with ATI cards? Or does it make sense to try this with a Radeon 7500?

As far as I know this is ONLY possible with the Nvidia cards unless you could convert it to a FireGL which will be quite impossible.

Well I did a small research, and it is possible, but sadly not with my card. You can do it with the Radeon 9x00 series, it almost doubles the scores in SpecViewPref. I'll try it when I buy one You can read more about it here:
