  • 3dsmax loading image sequence does not load all frames

Is there a reason this is happening ? Its not a memory issue as I have 24gb on my system and its a very simple scene.

Are you sure there isn't one frame missing or mistake in naming number?

I don't think so as all the frames were output from aftereffects with sequential names..I decided to use avi instead now though as I haven't got time to work out what was wrong with this method.

Well, that's one solution But I don't want to have to fork out money for something I only use very rarely...plus it should work, and if it's not, then there will more than likely be a way around it

It seems the format needs to be quite specific for max and ram player to be able to read the sequence correctly. Check this out if you are interested: LINK
