  • Triangulate a Mesh using Point Helpers?

Does anyone know of a script or plugin which can take a bunch of point helpers and triangulate a mesh out of them?

If you want a mesh from a point cloud, it can be done in Rhino.... download the trial version of Rhino but if you want a Surface(nurb) you can also download the trial version of ReSurf to create a single nurb from points.

Rhino won't work with point helpers though, right? It has to be actually vertices I'm assuming. But I don't know -- I've never worked with a true point cloud. My scene is a just a loose collection of point helpers, not a dense point cloud scan or anything like that.

Are the points on a single plane?
If not, I cant imagine how that would work. Probably like a cloth sim wrapping a mesh over the rigid points and then optimizing it. But you would need a direction of gravity then.
