Are you guys using 3dsmax 2012 in your work pipeline now ? Is it stable after the SP1 and HF2 ?
          Regards

I am, and it is very stable. I had some graphics issues, but they have been resolved.

I use the V-Ray's distribution renderer.

Maybe I have missed something, but what's the problem with BB2012?

It works just fine for us here in the office. I didn't make any changes to our configurations. I get a couple of warnings, but I was told I could ignore them.

I guess since I haven't had problems, I never really looked to see if other were having issues or not.

Any links to anyone's specific problem I would definitely look into it?

You cant do the same kind of thing with Vray DR as you can with BB. I use the new version of BB but haven't tried implementing the ipv6 protocol. It works fine for me just using the standard protocols.

I couldn't make it work because of ipv6. Not only got errors but couldn't connect to manager and other computers.

How you can use bb2012 with ipv4? I though it only works with ipv6!

It works with ipv4 but you must disable ipv6 dhcp in your server or it will only work with ipv6 and if the network (routers) isn't fully ready for ipv6 it will give a lot of headaches.

                          Best regards,
                          Daniel

I can only network render with the firewall completely disabled.
                              Reflect, repent and reboot.
                              Order shall return.
