  • Modelling roof tiles

Interested to hear peoples techniques for modelling roof tiles. I've seen one or two scripts kicking around, but either they are not supported my my aging version of Max, or they are clunky. Normally, we just use a tile/bercon type texture, but I'm interested in modelled tiles for close up work.

(BTW, we are in the UK, so the kind of tiles we use are pretty boring slate or concrete jobs, not the nice mediterranean clay barrel tiles)
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

Yep - I've been trying to evaluate that but it looks like it was installed on my machine some time ago and not used. Now the trial has run out so I can't test it

I've tried to contact them but no response yet.
          Kind Regards,

Try this. Not sure eactly what the roof type is that you're referring to but this has a couple different options aside from the barrel ones.
