  • RAL colours in Vray

I'm sure I've seen a thread on RAL before, but searching for RAL gives me no hits.

Window frames (etc) are often supplied with certain RAL numbers. What technique do people use to get these colours right? Searching for RAL 7011 in Google for instance gives a million different versions of the same colour!
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

another thing you can do once you type in the ral code and select the RAL color collection is that after the search you click on get commercial tints, select the ral collection again and it will search for the closest RAL tint within a certain range
easyrgb is a very useful site
try for instance the color calculator once you ve got your color
youll see you can play with color lighting, you can see the float color valuest etc etc
