  • Hit a blank. How do i copy railing posts on a path, a certain distance apart?

    Hi all

Too many things going on and I've hit a blank. I'm sure its simple. How do I copy my square upright posts (for railing) 1m apart but also to follow a curvy spline?
(maybe it's time for some coffee)
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Crap. I used to do this by animating a post to follow a path, and then using the snapshot tool. Could be that this was the only way ages ago.

There is also the AEC Railing that contains the spacing tool with the limitation being that you have to use either boxes or cylinders.

That works great, but how do I get my objects rotated to the path? It just spaced them nicely on the path, but they all rotated same direction now
