Pailhead, I dont know any way to do this kind of texture. It could take a picture of a real texture and retouch it in photoshop. that is how you say?
By the way the texture of your image is very good. How do you get it?
Flino, I've been looking Arroway textures but have not found anything.
Anyone have any idea about this? I'm a little desperate.
Just make a tilable map, crop a thin long part to act as a layer and shift it around a bit for each layer and darken/lighten it a bit. Its really simple i dont know what else to ad. I think i drew like a 3 pixel wide border in between. I dont have this model handy but i thinki have it on turbosquid ill look it up and maybe provide the texture.
yes, just use a gradient ramp map and multiply it with any wood texture in a composite map. Or for more realistic results, composite 2 different wood textures with a b/w gradient ramp as a mask, and the same gradient map inverted for the second wood texture.
Wow, I never imagined any of this.
Guys, thank you very much for answering, I will try one of these two options. Are really easy to do.
Thanks for the tip.
