correct me if i'm wrong but i think we are looking at two different things. The first is an animation projected by a real projector onto a real building, the second appears to be simply all post production seen only in the video.
The first is seen live from all angles. The second is only a video to be played on a computer or tv.
But maybe i'm wrong about the second.

I think you´re wrong regarding the second. It´s not the first time i see these kind of (real) projections on a product.
Look at this. Pretty awesome. Must have been much work to get it that exact.
