  • Hiring: animation expert for one project

For an already running project I'm looking to hire a Vray animation expert, to optimize an existing scene for animation.

The animation will be about 3-4 minutes, showing a shoppingmall, containing exterior birdseye views, streetlevel camera pans, and interior walkthroughs. No modelling needs to be done, entire render-ready scene will be provided with lighting/materials. Currently it was only used for creating stills, the look and feel of those stills will have to be matched in the final animation. Due to a non-disclosure agreement I can't post pictures of the project, an NDA will have to be signed before starting.

    Optimization:
    - Optimize an existing scene to get acceptable rendertimes (materials, lighting, rendersettings). Goal: rendertime per frame not exceeding 15GHzh (35min. on Intel i7 4core, 3.33Ghz), with high quality low-noise/no flicker animation frames.

    Composition workflow
    - Setup (and document) a workflow in 3ds Max and After Effects CS5 or Composite 2012 for rendering and compositing the animated elements (cars and people) over the final animation

    Payment: € 1000
Requirements: experience in animation rendering with VRay and compositing, examples/portfolio required.

      Offer ended:
Client decided to change the animation approach, so I won't be needing to optimize the existing scene anymore. Any freelancers or businesses interested in future work like this feel free to still drop me a line, will keep it in mind for next time.
