  • blur studios & girl with dragon tattoo

The opening credits sequence for the American film version of the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Blur studios to the tune of Trent Reznor & Orange doing a Led Zeppelin cover at movie theater volume was worth the price of admission. Great stuff.
For the movie itself, i've seen the foreign versions and the American version definitely cranks things up a few notches.

Hehe, yes, the opening looks very cool I haven't seen the movie itself though.

    Best regards,

how did you see the opening without seeing the movie? I went to Blur's site and they don't have it up there yet in their recent works area(at least not that i could find). And i haven't seen it on You Tube either. I would love to see it again.

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

might be the only one here, but apart from the technical 3d stuff, at blur are as brilliant as ever, I didn't like it one bit. hope it makes more sense once seen in context with the rest of the movie.

it's a pretty tenuous link to be honest... they use computers in it and it's a bit dark. so they did an abstract computer-y dark sequence.
