Otherwise 2 of my colleague have some problems with restarting display drivers, but maybe they don't updated for a long time.

In my opinion it's shockingly faster than my old max 2010 with direct 3d, complex exterior scenes are now handled smoothly with proxies shown as faces and textures ON.
One of greatest things on max 2012 - workflow is much smooother now.

What is your card? Which dirver?
      Which OS?
      Do you render to VFB?

        hey pixela,

        i have ASUS ENGTX570/2DI/1280MD5 - nvidia gtx 570
        dirver - 280.26
        win7 ultimate 64bit
        yes I use VFB only.
AERO etc everything is ON I like my windows pretty

For Nitrous I would suggest to buy a new gamer card. Older cards = problems.

Of course from time to time we get various funky effects ( like psychedelic-not-refreshing-viewport-falling-into-spiral etc ), but these things happened always to me - no mather if I used direct3d or openGL, viewports in max do strange things.period. (never used Quadro cards though)

        cheerios,
