Strange speed differences between render nodes

Hi there,

I have 4 render nodes and one main workstation. I recently checked a backburner job and noticed that one render node was a lot faster than all the others...even though it was a slower processor than 2 of them. The faster render node has an i7 920 cpu and renders a frame in 26 mins. The 2 render nodes with i7 940 renders a frame in 56 mins. All render nodes have 24gb of ram. I've checked the hardware spec for machines and they are all the same apart from the CPU. How can slower CPU's run faster than faster CPU's ????

I also checked vray versions and all are the same.

Any ideas ?

Ignore this thread...firstly, it's in the wrong forum and secondly I noticed that DR is being picked up on that render node hence the time differences...makes sense now Sorry, very tired...working way too much !
