I realise that most people use rack servers and normally enclose them within a rack cage..possibly an acoustic rack cage, but is there an equivalent for multiple towers ? Alternatively can I convert my towers into a modified type of rack ? The cpu fans are massive so it would be much larger than a standard 1u/2u case.

Think I may have found a solution for conversion albeit rather expensive: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/antec...-(eps-12v)-atx

What did you end up getting for this?Kind Regards,

I didn't in the end. That idea is still sitting on the backburner. I did check out a number of companies online that provide conversions for tower systems. There were also a number of places that sold rack frames. I think I went to scan.co.uk and maybe ebuyer.co.uk. Twas a long time ago now though.
Let me know if you have any luck finding anything suitable. At the moment my room looks untidy in the corner with my tower systems on each other...it would be nice to tidy up and save space, plus have enough room to expand to a couple more render nodes.
