Windows 8 and Max 2013

So as far as I understand, Windows 8 is html5 based, so then, how are you suppose to install any exe programs like Max 2013 on it?

Did any of you by any chance try Max 2013 on your Windows 8 Open Beta yet?

How does it all work?

I don't know what you mean.
Windows 8 will be compatible with most current programs.
As I konw, there is no problem to install and launch them.

thats not how I understood it. I thought that it wont be backwards compatibale at all, since its html5 based.

Maybe you mean tablet version windows 8 ?
I think MS will not give up the compatibility for PC desktop version.
So don't worry, it'll be works well.

I dont have a problem with it
BECAUSE:
That's the same question asked when Windows 7 came out
and same question when Vista came out
and same question when XP came out

I never had an issue with Windows except for Windows Millenium (I worked on Vista for 5 years without any issues - even though people said Vista was same crap as Millenium)
