  • System units VS Type of 3D industry?

    Hi all

What system units do you usually set max as? (the default is inches)

In archviz we usually set it mm (some srange reason some people set it to cm)

I purchased some character models and they were in cm

I had some demo/free Axis things, and they vary from meter to cm

    So, what do YOU use?
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

I'm using cm, because with mm you are getting into rounding error territory with large scale archviz projects.

cm, which is what most architects use here anyway.

mm, sometimes metres depending on scale.

cant stand feet/inches, such a ridiculous system.

meters for me. I have scenes with scanned context models 1kmsq so anything less is dangerous.

cm 'cause mm is to small and m is too big.

I do images about shops and my unit is cm.

Meters too big, mm to small.

                          Display unit is the same.
