We have recently purchased an Optoma HD600X DLP projector which supports 3D (with the purchase of 3D glasses). Our GFX cards (GTX480) seem to support 3D, but I am wondering how all this will play with Max and Vray. Has anyone played around with 3D projections?
Does enabling the Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D simply make my entire PC output (to the projector) 3D, or is it just certain applications that are 3D (the latter I presume)? For instance, is it just the viewport display of 3DSmax that is 3D, or do you use the Vray stereoscopic-type helpers/renders to view 3D content?
