    still probably be more tiring to use than a mouse though

    however were the software actually be designed for it.. 10 fingers in full 3d space... thats a lot of expressive control..

          well apparently it uses a completely different method than kinekt.. plus they claim accuracy to 1/100th of a mm. thats a whole shedload more accurate than a kinekt.

          for me it all depends how easy it is to use with your arm resting on a surface.. some kind of chunky wrist rest/mousemat thingy. if you have to hold your arm up for it to be usable then its still no good. however if you watch the videos, it seems you can control it quite well with very small finger movements. so i suspect it could be used with arm on table.

          kinekt captures general body pose from some distance away, and is only passably accurate at best. ive seen people using the kinekt ( and the wii-mote) and in both cases it seems the control is way too laggy and imprecise for anything other than casual gaming.

          having said that, "kinekt fusion" is a whole different story!
