strange wacom behaviorin in max 2013 compared to 2012

I don't know if there is some option to turn off but my wacom intuos is behaving different than in max 2012. For zooming I'm using ctrl+alt and middle mouse button (pen button) then moving pen forward and back to zoom in out. In 2012 it was normal in 2013 when I release ctrl+alt and still moving pen the view is panning quite a lot. So basically I can;t move my hand after releasing ctrl+alt so I don't pan.
