having used maxwell in early alpha stage, I can really relate to that.. another funny thing is the worry about the file being too large to download: "the image is a little big 470kb be patient thx..."

If you have everything right like Bertrand does (lighting, textures, models, cameras, tone mapping, etc .... It will look similar no matter what.... there are a bunch of Alex Romans alike as well.
I would like to do it right as well but I'm getting old to learn new tricks (too bad)

Haha, same - zulibans work was what got me properly into arch viz in the first place. the kitchen shot, i beleive.
