  • any trick or script to do this?

Hi always struggle to make good texture specially when client is very specific about dimensions like this--

I was wondering if there is any script or plugin to make corrugated panel like this where you can make profile and run it on spline path with option to scale profile/tiling etc?

hey thanks for your reply. I tried displacement but client is too specific about minor dimensions. It is a closeup shot so displacement not working very well.. i have now modeled everything in 3d. For this project it is straight wall so no problem in using array to repeat a small part i modeled but i was wondering what i will do if shape of wall is complicated/curvy .. may be some script where you can repeat profile like uvwmap over spline path i am not a very tech person.. may be it is tech not possible hehe..

i am aware of sweep & loft but i dont know how can i use it to make my shape profile run over wall path like above link..

I think Itoosofts Railclone could do this nicely. Build one segment and let it copy it along your path. I dont have it myself so cant say for sure, but it should work...

they have a demo, that's full functioning, with several library elements (curbs, fence...).

Roof designer from Batzal is really good for this.
They have a seperate "sidings" plugin for doing weatherboards or any other wall claddings.

I have been using Roof Designer for years, and love it. I haven't used it for siding, but I'll try it.
